This Privacy Policy explains how KEIPER AND PARTNER LLC, operating LawnRide at lawnride.com ("we", "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you use our website and auction services.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, state, pickup or delivery address, account password, your bids, watched lots and purchases, details of mowers you offer to sell, and messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, bid timestamps, referring pages, and similar usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers and banks. We don't store full card or bank account numbers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to create and manage your account, run auctions, record and verify bids, notify you about your bids and won lots, invoice and collect payment, arrange pickup and freight, handle seller listings, respond to your questions, prevent fraud and shill bidding, improve the Service, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
When you win a lot, we share your name and pickup details with the seller so the handover can take place. If you request freight, we share your delivery details with the carrier. We also share personal information with service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting, payment, email and SMS delivery providers), who may use it only to provide services to us; when required by law or to protect our rights; and in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business. Bidder identities are not shown publicly. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Text messaging
If you give your express consent by checking the SMS box, we use your phone number to send recurring automated service updates and account notifications, such as bid confirmations, outbid notices, closing reminders, winning bid, invoice and pickup messages, and account security alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help, or email our support team at support@lawnride.com. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is our SMS delivery providers, which process your number solely to deliver messages you have agreed to receive.
5. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to run the site, keep you signed in and record your bids, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; bidding won't work without the necessary cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, keep auction and bid records, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can update your account information at any time and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. California residents should see our CCPA Notice. 9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
