Bidding on LawnRide
LawnRide runs online auctions for used John Deere riding tractors and zero-turn mowers. Each auction has a small number of lots so every mower gets a proper condition report.
Register
Create a free account. You need to be 18 or older with a US address.
Inspect
Every lot lists the hour meter reading, a condition report and photos. In-person inspection is by appointment.
Bid
Enter a bid at or above the next minimum. A bid in the last 2 minutes extends the lot by 2 minutes, so there's no sniping.
Pay and collect
Winning bidders get an invoice by email. Pay within 3 business days, then pick up or book freight.
What you pay
The winning bid plus a 10% buyer's premium, plus sales tax where it applies. There are no registration or bidding fees. Payment is by wire transfer, ACH or debit card within 3 business days of the lot closing.

Getting it home
Each lot shows its pickup location. Collect it within 7 days of payment with a trailer or pickup truck; we help load it. Prefer delivery? Ask for a freight quote before the lot closes. Most riders ship on a pallet within the Southeast in 3 to 7 business days.
Sold as-is
Lots are sold as-is, where-is. Our condition reports describe what we checked: whether the engine starts and runs, how the drive and deck work, and visible wear. They are not a warranty, so inspect in person if a detail matters to you.
Sell your John Deere rider
We accept John Deere riding tractors (X300, X500, X700, S100 and S200 series) and ZTrak zero-turns in running condition. Send us the model, year, hour reading, location and 4 to 6 photos. We reply within 2 business days with an estimate and the next auction date.
Seller fees are agreed per lot before listing. Payment goes to you within 5 business days after the buyer collects.

We photograph the hour meter and note the reading. Hour meters can be replaced over a mower's life; if we know of a replacement, we say so in the report.
What if I win and change my mind?
Bids are binding. Not paying for a won lot can lead to account suspension and a fee as set out in our Terms of Service.
Can I bid from outside the Southeast?
Yes. Anyone with a US address can bid. Plan for pickup or ask for a freight quote before you bid.
Are these mowers sold by John Deere?
No. Lots are used mowers from private sellers. LawnRide is independent and not affiliated with Deere & Company.
